Return and Refund Policy

We want you to love what you purchase, but if something isn’t right, please let us know. House of Aurae is a 100% hand-embroidered and handmade brand, so please note that we do not accept returns for made-to-order items and accessories.

Once received, our customer care team will review the request for a return or exchange. Kindly write to us at info@houseofaurae.in for further assistance.

1. Eligibility for Refund

Refunds are applicable only in the following cases:

  • The item received is damaged, defective, or incorrect.
  • The item does not match the description on our website.
  • The refund request is initiated within 7 days of delivery.

No Refunds or Returns will be accepted for:

  • Made-to-order items and accessories.
  • Products that show signs of wear and tear or have been used.
  • Items purchased during sale or promotional events.
  • International orders (as mentioned below).

2. International Return Policy

We do not offer merchandise exchanges or returns on orders shipped internationally.

In the unlikely event that your order:

  • Is damaged, defective, or not received in good condition, or
  • The item received is different from what was ordered,

Note: No refunds are available on international orders.

3. Refund Process

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Email us at info@houseofaurae.in within 7 days of receiving the item.
  2. Provide your order number, clear images of the product showing the issue, and a brief explanation of the problem.
  3. Our team will review your request and respond within 3-5 business days.
  4. If approved, you will need to return the item in its original packaging with all tags intact.
  5. Once we receive and inspect the returned product, we will process your refund within 7-10 business days.

4. Refund Method

  • Refunds will be credited to your original payment method.
  • If the payment was made via Cash on Delivery (COD), you will be required to share your bank account details for the refund process.
  • Shipping charges (if applicable) are non-refundable.

5. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund within the specified timeframe:

  • Check your bank account again.
  • Contact your credit card company/bank, as processing times may vary.

6. Order Cancellation Policy

  • Once an order is confirmed, it cannot be canceled.
  • In the event of a cancellation, the full payment (100%) will be forfeited and treated as the cancellation fee.
  • Our brand’s policy does not include the provision of refunds.
